Warranty Period

 All SmartByte products are compliant with specific industrial standards from design, validation to manufacturing. They are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship from shipping from SmartByte. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:


1. Out of warranty period

2. Products subjected to misuse or abuse, whether by accident or other causes

3. Defects resulting from natural disaster, including but not limited to lightning, flooding, earthquake, fire, etc.

4. Defects resulting from any service, maintenance or repair executed by a third part other than SmartByte, service provider or third party authorized

by SmartByte

5. .Products with an altered and/or damaged serial number.

6. The warranty of customized and ODM products will be defined in the relative contract,and excluded from this warranty policy

* DOA (Defect on Arrival): A product is found to be defective within 3 months from the shipping date after leaving SmartByte factory

Returned DOA items must be unscathed in appearance, without alteration, scratches or damaging marks. DOA will not be accepted in case of customer's improper configuration or misuse. Or the customers have to be responsible for a portion of the handling charges if it proves not to be the hardware problem.
